Why we use personal data
We use inquiry and contact data to answer requests and take steps before a vehicle sale or rental. We use customer, driver, booking, payment-status and document data to perform contracts, meet accounting and legal duties, and establish or defend legal claims.
Legal bases
The legal bases are steps requested before a contract and performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in answering business inquiries, securing our operations, and handling legal claims. We do not use this data for automated decisions or profiling.
Data and sources
We receive identity, contact, inquiry, vehicle, rental, driver, transaction and document data from you, from a person arranging a rental for you, and from records created while we serve you.
Recipients and transfers
Authorised dealership staff and Oleks Tech OÜ, which operates miraride as our processor, can access the data when needed. Hetzner hosts EU compute and databases; Cloudflare provides edge, TLS, Turnstile, R2 and backup storage; Resend delivers transactional email; and scrubbed Sentry diagnostics are kept in its German region. Optional, user-started AI actions use OpenAI Ireland with store=false and human review; standard abuse-monitoring logs may remain up to 30 days and API data is not used for training by default. Google independently controls address-search queries and technical request data under its own privacy terms. Contractual safeguards apply where processing involves the US.
Retention
Unsuccessful inquiries are kept for 24 months. Closed booking records are kept for 24 months unless accounting, tax or legal-claims law requires a longer period.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us using the address above. You may complain to the data protection authority where you live or work.
